Adding context to AI Chat lets AI reference specific papers or collections for
more accurate responses.

What is context?

Context is additional information that AI references when responding. When you specify certain papers or collections as context, AI bases its answers on those materials.

How do you add context?

Click the Add Context button near the chat input to select papers or collections from your library.

Select papers — AI will base its response on the content of those specific papers.
Select collections — AI will reference all papers in the selected collection.

How do you remove context?

Added context appears as chips (tags). Click the X button on a chip to remove that context.

When should you add context?

When asking questions about specific papers
When you want analysis based only on a certain collection
When you want AI editing to reference specific papers
