Chanhee Chae

Professor Chanhee Chae's research lab specializes in veterinary virology and parasitology, with a primary focus on economically significant pathogens affecting swine, including porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), and Isospora suis. The lab conducts molecular diagnostics, histopathological studies, and retrospective epidemiological analyses to understand disease mechanisms, improve detection methods, and support the development of effective control strategies.
