Professor Jae Yeol Lee's research lab specializes in organic materials chemistry and medicinal chemistry, with a focus on developing novel thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters for next-generation optoelectronic devices. The lab also investigates small molecule compounds with targeted anticancer mechanisms, particularly in non-small cell lung cancer, exploring their apoptotic pathways and synergistic effects with existing chemotherapeutics. The integration of advanced molecular design with biological evaluation defines the lab’s interdisciplinary approach to materials and drug discovery.

Network and Internet technology opens up another domain for building future CAD/CAM environments. The environment will be global, network-centric, and spatially distributed. We present an approach for network-centric feature-based modeling in a distributed design environment. The presented approach combines the current feature-based modeling technique with distributed computing and communication technology for supporting product modeling and collaborative design activities over the network. The
We previously reported that 4-(4-fluorobenzylcarbamoylmethyl)-3-(4-cyclohexylphenyl)-2-[3-(<i>N,N</i>-dimethylureido)-<i>N'</i>-methylpropylamino]-3,4-dihydroquinazoline (KCP10043F) can induce G1-phase arrest and synergistic cell death in combination with etoposide in lung cancer cells. Here, we investigated the underlying mechanism by which KCP10043F induces cell death in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Propidium iodide (PI) and annexin V staining revealed that KCP10043F-induced
