Professor Mik Fanguy's research lab focuses on innovative pedagogical practices in higher education, particularly in online and blended learning environments. The lab investigates how collaborative learning strategies—such as collaborative note-taking, media diversity in video lectures, and student engagement behaviors—impact cognitive load, learning performance, and academic achievement. A central theme is understanding the interplay between instructional design, student cognition, and technology use to enhance deep and meaningful learning in graduate and postgraduate education.
