Professor Seunghyun Lee's research lab specializes in medical imaging and biomedical diagnostics, focusing on advanced non-invasive techniques to assess hemodynamic changes and tissue characteristics in neurological and oncological conditions. The lab investigates cerebral blood flow dynamics using arterial spin-labeling MRI in cerebrovascular diseases such as moyamoya disease, while also exploring the application of imaging biomarkers in liver fibrosis and pulmonary metastases. Additionally, the lab examines physiological and pathological mechanisms in neurodevelopmental disorders and tumor microenvironments, particularly through functional imaging and signal analysis. Their work bridges clinical radiology with molecular pathophysiology to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment monitoring.
Figures are computed from collected data and may differ slightly.
Our results suggest that the combination therapy of SOR and DOX-MAC can cause inhibition of tumor growth after treatment and that this therapy can be adequately monitored using the theragnostic DOX-MAC agent.
Focused ultrasound with microbubbles (FUS-MBs) has shown that it can lead to an efficient drug delivery system (DDS) involving the oscillation and destruction of the MB but is limited in drug delivery due to its narrow pressure field. However, unfocused ultrasound with MBs (UUS-MBs) and an interchangeable acoustic lens can tune and enhance the pressure field for MB destruction to overcome the disadvantages of FUS-MB DDSs. We designed a lens suitable for an ultrasound-phased array probe and studi
Voting is a glocalized event across countries, states and municipalities in which individuals of all abilities want to participate. To enable people with disabilities to participate accessible voting is typically implemented by adding assistive technologies to electronic voting machines to accommodate people with disabilities. To overcome the complexities and inequities in this practice, two interfaces, EZ Ballot, which uses a linear yes/no input system for all selections, and QUICK Ballot, whic
