About the Lab
Professor Shin Hye Yoo's research lab focuses on translational oncology and precision medicine, with a strong emphasis on improving cancer treatment outcomes through biomarker discovery, immunotherapy optimization, and palliative care integration. The lab investigates immune checkpoint expression (such as PD-L1 and MHC class I) in head and neck and lung cancers, explores metabolic heterogeneity in pancreatic cancer using PET imaging, and evaluates real-world effectiveness and financial toxicity of low-dose immunotherapies like nivolumab.
