About the Lab
Professor So Young Ji's research lab specializes in translational neurosurgical innovation, focusing on patient-specific 3D-printed models for brain tumor surgery planning and the clinical application of fluorescence-guided surgery using 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA). We report a case of glioneuronal tumor (GNT) with a discovery of novel gene fusion of <i>CLIP2-MET</i> resulting from aberrant chromosome 7 abnormalities. We executed an elaborate genomic study on this case including whole-exome sequencing and RNA sequencing.
