How to Import a BibTeX File?

Last updated: 2026-03-11·1 min read

Upload RIS, BibTeX, or CSV files to instantly add bibliographic data to your
library. Exports from EndNote and Mendeley work the same way. File import
transfers only metadata, so PDFs need to be attached separately after import.

What File Formats Are Supported?

RIS, BibTeX, and CSV formats are supported.

How to Import a BibTeX File?

  1. In your existing reference manager, select the papers you want to export and save them in BibTeX or RIS format.
  2. Click the import button in the Nubint AI library panel.
  3. Upload the exported file, and the bibliographic information will be added to your library.

What Happens to PDFs After Import?

File import only brings in bibliographic information. You'll need to attach PDFs separately after import. If you want to import PDFs as well, use the Zotero account integration instead.
