Professor Seulah Lee's research lab specializes in the isolation, structural elucidation, and biological evaluation of bioactive natural products from medicinal mushrooms, fungi, and aromatic plants. The lab focuses on identifying novel compounds with antitumor, anti-inflammatory, and antiproliferative activities, employing advanced spectroscopic and computational techniques such as NMR, HR-MS, ECD, and DP4+ analysis. Key research directions include the discovery of structurally unique metabolites and the investigation of their molecular mechanisms in cancer and inflammatory diseases.
