Professor Chae Young Lee's research lab specializes in the development of advanced optoelectronic devices, with a primary focus on quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) and porous ceramics. The lab investigates novel materials and device architectures to enhance device efficiency, stability, and performance—particularly in cadmium-free, red-emitting QLEDs through interfacial engineering and self-aging techniques. We demonstrate a highly efficient red cadmium‐free quantum dot light‐emitting diode (QLED) comprising inverted structure and ZnO:Mg nanoparticles as an electron transport layer. Fabricated QLED reveals maximum external quantum efficiency of 4.46% and more than two‐fold increase in efficiency (10.17%) after aging for several days.
