Relationship between supply chain performance and degree of linkage among supplier, internal integration, and customer
Chang Won Lee, Ik‐Whan G. Kwon, Dennis G. Severance
SJR Q1Supply Chain Management An International Journal

Abstract Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to present the relationship between supply chain linkages and supply chain performance (cost‐containment and reliability of supply chain partners). Design/methodology/approach – Multivariate regression models are developed in order to identify the characteristics of determinants of linkages in the supply chain stakeholders (suppliers, internal stakeholders and customers). The survey was administered to individuals identified from a list of US execu

Sequence Analysis of the Hemagglutinin Gene of H9N2 Korean Avian Influenza Viruses and Assessment of the Pathogenic Potential of Isolate MS96
Chang Won Lee, Chang‐Seon Song, Youn‐Jeong Lee, In-Pil Mo, Maricarmen Garcı́a, David L. Suarez, Sun-Joong Kim
SJR Q2Avian Diseases

Sequence analysis of the hemagglutinin (HA) gene of five Korean H9N2 avian influenza virus (AIV) isolates showed that these viruses were closely related and possibly came from the same source. Phylogenetic analysis of the HA1 subunit of H9 subtype isolates revealed that Korean AIV isolates were different from isolates from the poultry markets in Hong Kong in 1997. None of the Korean AIVs had multiple basic amino acids at the HA cleavage site that confer high pathogenicity to some H5 and H7 AIVs.

Exploring the Roles of Self-Efficacy and Technical Support in the Relationship between Techno-Stress and Counter-Productivity
Dae-Geun Kim, Chang Won Lee
SJR Q1SustainabilityOA

Organizational reliance on information and communication technology (ICT) is more likely to induce techno-stress as a detrimental effect, which has a negative impact on productivity. Businesses should make organizational efforts to decrease counter-productivity, a negative effect of techno-stress, to create sustainable productivity by taking advantage of information and communication technology. The purpose of this study was to explore the roles of self-efficacy and technical support as moderati

Information resource planning for a health-care system using an AHP-based goal programming method
Chang Won Lee, N. K. Kwak
SJR Q1Journal of the Operational Research Society

This paper presents a goal programming (GP) model which aids in allocating a health-care system's information resources pertinent to strategic planning. The model is developed based on the data obtained from a major health-care system in the United States. The overall objective is to design and evaluate a model for effective information resource planning in a health-care system. The proposed model: (1) utilizes a GP approach to reflect the multiple, conflicting goals of the health-care system; (

Ana Belén Tulcanaza-Prieto, Hokyun Shin, Young-Hwan Lee, Chang Won Lee
SJR Q1SustainabilityOA

This study explores the relationship between corporate performance and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the Ecuadorian banking environment. The first model employs both return on assets and return on equity as proxy for the financial performance while the second model includes the non-financial corporate performance constructs collected by a self-designed online questionnaire. We found a statistically positive relationship among CSR initiates and the financial and non-financi
