About the Lab

Professor Cheolgeun Park's research lab focuses on molecular oncology and cancer pathogenesis, with a particular emphasis on gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers. The lab investigates the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying carcinogenesis, including the serrated pathway in colorectal carcinogenesis, Wnt/β-catenin signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma, and the role of long non-coding RNAs in tumor progression and prognosis. They also explore prognostic biomarkers and immune microenvironment features in melanoma and gastrointestinal stromal tumors, aiming to improve risk stratification and treatment outcomes.
