The differential approach to the theory of the multiproduct firm is employed to examine ex ante decisions about feed grain demand and livestock supply. Abstract Since 1996 there have been several suspension agreements between the United States and Mexico that set reference prices for imported Mexican tomatoes. The 2013 suspension agreement raised the reference prices of Mexican tomatoes by 43%. This study examines the interfuel substitution effects of biofuel use on carbon dioxide emissions in the U.S. transportation sector. This study identifies the factors determining the purchase frequencies of organic/natural fertilizers (ONFs) with a focus on do-it-yourself (DIY) consumers’ perceptions and motives. This study examines factor substitution and energy intensity in the U.S. agricultural sector. Not only does this study focus on the substitution possibilities between energy and non-energy factors, but it also attempts to identify the factors that determine energy intensity. This paper analyzes the dynamic effects of agricultural subsidies on food loss using the two-stage dynamic panel model. The results reveal that dynamic adjustments exist in agricultural productivity (0.56) and food loss (0.58), with a U-shaped curve between them. That is, food loss declines as productivity grows, but it rises after reaching a certain productivity level.
