About the Lab
Professor Euiseok Kim's research lab specializes in interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of neuroscience, advanced computing, and sustainable innovation. The lab investigates neural mechanisms underlying chronic itch and sensory processing, particularly focusing on spinal inhibitory circuits and their role in sensory gating. In parallel, the lab explores technological innovation in computing architectures—especially CXL-based memory disaggregation and near-data processing—to enhance performance and energy efficiency in data-intensive applications.
