Professor Eun Jae Chung's research lab specializes in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, with a primary focus on developing advanced biomaterials and biofabrication techniques for esophageal reconstruction. The lab investigates innovative scaffold designs—such as three-layered PCL-silk fibroin and 3D-printed biodegradable grafts—combined with stem cell-based bioreactor systems to enhance tissue regeneration. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence, risk factors, and prognostic significance of level VI lymph node metastases from hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).
