About the Lab
Professor Ho-Yun Lee's research lab specializes in thoracic radiology and quantitative medical imaging, focusing on the non-invasive characterization of lung diseases using advanced CT and radiomics. The lab investigates the radiologic features of lung adenocarcinoma, particularly ground-glass nodules, to predict malignancy, invasiveness, and genetic profiles such as ALK, ROS1, and RET fusions. Key research directions include developing imaging biomarkers for early lung cancer detection, assessing resectability in hilar cholangiocarcinoma, and evaluating disease progression in interstitial lung diseases like fibrotic IIP.
