About the Lab

Professor Hyejin Kang's research lab focuses on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric symptoms in neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease, using neuroimaging techniques such as SPECT to map regional cerebral blood flow. The lab also investigates the functional brain networks involved in speech perception under challenging auditory conditions, employing advanced computational methods like persistent homology to analyze network topology.
