About the Lab

Professor Hyunjin Park's research lab specializes in biomedical imaging, radiomics, and biofunctional materials, with a focus on advancing medical diagnostics and therapeutic strategies. The lab develops innovative imaging techniques—such as probabilistic atlases, parametric PET/MRI, and radiomics signatures—to improve the detection and prognosis of cancers, particularly prostate and breast cancer. Additionally, the lab designs biodegradable, bioactive polymers and nanocarriers for enhanced drug delivery and environmental sustainability in agriculture. These interdisciplinary efforts integrate medical imaging, computational modeling, and materials science to address critical challenges in oncology and neurodevelopmental disorders.
