About the Lab
Professor Hyunwoo Nam's research lab specializes in neurological and cerebrovascular disorders, with a focus on epilepsy, cerebral small vessel disease (SVD), and sleep apnea. The lab investigates the pathophysiological mechanisms linking epilepsy—particularly in temporal lobe epilepsy and focal cortical dysplasia with hippocampal sclerosis—to cerebrovascular dysfunction and neuroimaging biomarkers.
