About the Lab

Professor In-Soo Jeon's research lab focuses on host-pathogen interactions, particularly the immunological mechanisms underlying bacterial infections such as scrub typhus caused by *Orientia tsutsugamushi*. The lab investigates dendritic cell responses during infection, emphasizing innate immune activation and antigen presentation. Additionally, the lab contributes to space weather research by analyzing high-energy solar proton events using deep-space spacecraft data, such as those from the Psyche mission. Abstract We report new measurements of high‐energy protons ejected by the sun during the May 2024 Ganon superstorm.
