About the Lab
Professor Jae Uk Chun's research lab specializes in organizational behavior, with a focus on transformational and ethical leadership, mentoring relationships, and interpersonal dynamics in the workplace. The lab investigates how leadership behaviors—particularly transformational and humble leadership—impact employee well-being, performance, and organizational citizenship through mechanisms such as leader-member exchange (LMX), trust, and moral identity. Using multilevel and longitudinal designs across diverse organizational contexts, especially in East Asian settings like South Korea, the lab explores the psychological and relational processes that shape positive work outcomes.

Results indicated that group‐focused transformational leadership was positively associated with team performance through team member exchange (TMX),
This study examined the roles of mentors’ and protégés’ emotional intelligence and protégés’ trust in the mentors in formal mentoring relationships.
