Professor Jae-Woo Jo's research lab specializes in orthopedic trauma and regenerative medicine, focusing on innovative surgical techniques and biomaterials for complex bone fractures and impaired bone healing. OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this study was to determine the healing rate and time to union of atypical subtrochanteric fractures treated with cephalomedullary nailing. The aim of this study was to introduce various applications of miniplate augmented tension-band wiring (TBW) for comminuted patella fractures and to evaluate the clinical outcomes. In the current study, we fabricated tannic acid-alendronate (TA-ALN) nanocomplexes (NPXs) via self-assembly. These TA-ALNs were characterized by dynamic light scattering, zeta potential, transmission electron microscopy, and FT-IR spectroscopy.
