About the Lab
Professor Jeon Tae-yeon's research lab specializes in diagnostic and molecular imaging, with a focus on improving the accuracy of medical imaging in oncology, neurology, and pediatric radiology. The lab investigates advanced MRI techniques such as DCE-MRI and DWI for early cancer treatment monitoring, as well as the diagnostic value of imaging features in sinonasal tumors, brain injuries in preterm infants, and congenital biliary atresia. 15Although a CCP is a reliable MR imaging feature of sinonasal IPs, it can also be seen in various malignant sinonasal tumors. A focal loss of a CCP might be a clue to the diagnosis of IPs concomitant with malignancy.
Although the incidence of DEHSI was high (75%) in preterm infants at near-term-equivalent age MR imaging, DEHSI was not predictive of following adverse outcomes. Cystic encephalomalacia and punctate lesions were more significant predictors of cerebral palsy.
