Professor Jeong-Hyun Choi's research lab focuses on translational biomedical research, with a primary emphasis on immunomodulation, neurodevelopmental disorders, and microbiota-gut axis interactions. The lab investigates epigenetic regulators such as HDAC inhibitors in allergic airway inflammation, utilizes animal models to explore autism spectrum disorder pathophysiology, and examines the role of gut microbiota in age-related neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, the lab explores probiotic-derived bioactive compounds for bone health and evaluates clinical interventions in vascular and anesthetic care. These multidisciplinary efforts aim to identify novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers for chronic inflammatory and degenerative conditions.
