About the Lab
Professor Jeong-Won Yoon's research lab focuses on information behavior, particularly among international students and foreign-born populations, examining their health information-seeking practices, daily life information needs, and the role of leadership in organizational performance. The lab explores how language, cultural adaptation, and digital platforms shape information access and decision-making in cross-cultural contexts. It also investigates strategic leadership in latecomer firms, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, emphasizing the role of top management in internationalization and firm performance.

Introduction: This study investigated influences of multimedia tweets on retweetablity during public health crises, in order to provide evidence for facilitating effective use of Twitter for health communication. \nMethod: Using the Twitter stream API, a total of 359,043 Zika-related tweets were collected for analysis. \nAnalysis: The sampled tweets were quantitatively analysed using descriptive statistics and chi-squared tests.
