Professor Ji Young Kim's research spans environmental health, molecular epigenetics, and nutraceutical science, with a focus on understanding the biological impacts of environmental pollutants, the epigenetic regulation of disease, and the health-promoting effects of dietary phytochemicals. 그동안 무용교육자의 교수능력과 교수행위에 관한 논의가 많이 이루어져 온 것에비해, 교수자의 신체언어, 외향언어, 청각언어와 같은 비언어적 소통 능력(nonverbal communication)이 학습자의 태도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 교수행동 요소를 밝히는 연구들은 부족했다. 하지만 비언어적 커뮤니케이션이 학생들에게 수업에 대한 이해도와 몰입도를향상시킬 수 있기 때문에(이경탁, 2010, p.125), 효율적인 교수방법과 수업전략을 구사하기위해서는 비언어적 의사소통의 중요성이 강조된다. 따라서 이 연구의 기본 전제는 언어적커뮤니케이션과 비언어적 커뮤니케이션의 어느 한쪽에 비중을 두고 커뮤니케이션의 기능을논쟁하기 보다는, 전달하고자 하는 메시지의 송신과정에서 비언어적 요소들을 중점으로 논의를 하고자 한다. 또한 비언어적 커뮤니케이션을 활용할 때 메시지의 설명력이나 전달력이배가되어 소통을 더욱 극대화시킬 수 있다는 관점에서(이호열, 박재우, 2012 재인용, p.224;Birdwhiste
