한국인의 제1형 과립각막이상증의 형태학적 특징

목적: 제1형 과립각막이상증(granular corneal dystrophy type 1, GCD1)은 각막 전부기질에 회백색 과립 혼탁이 발생하는 유전 질환으로, 대부분 10세 이전에 병변이 나타난다고 알려져 있다. 하지만 현재까지 국내에서 GCD1의 특징이 확연하게 기술되지 못한 바, 이에 유전적으로 확인된 국내 GCD1 각막의 형태학적 특징을 조사하였다. 대상과 방법: 2005년부터 2022년까지 구강상피 또는 혈액을 이용한 TGFBI 유전자(transforming growth factor β induced gene) 검사에서 R555W 변이가 확인된 GCD1 환자 총 30명(60안)의 의무기록과 세극등현미경으로 촬영한 각막 사진을 분석하였다. 결과: 남성 11명, 여성 19명으로 이루어진 대상 환자의 평균 연령은 35.7세(3-70세)였으며, 모두 이형접합자였다. 이 중 28명(56안93.3%)에서 각막침착물이 표면에서 탈락한 흔적(drop-off)이 있었으며 이들은 모두 6
