About the Lab

Professor Jitaek Lim's research lab focuses on innovative architectural design and construction methodologies, particularly the open housing system and architectural precast concrete (APC) techniques, to enable dynamic, modular, and constructable building forms. The lab explores spatial modularity in multi-residential buildings, emphasizing design freedom through standardized yet flexible structural systems. In this study, a reference plane module of the multi-residential building is proposed for applying open housing method.
