Professor Jun Hyung Kim's research lab specializes in biomedical imaging, diagnostic AI, and biomaterials, with a focus on improving early detection of oral diseases using deep learning and advanced imaging techniques. The lab investigates the prognostic value of non-invasive biomarkers in metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, while also exploring antiviral immunity in aquaculture and resistive switching mechanisms in nanoscale oxide materials for next-generation electronics. Current research spans from clinical applications in dentistry and cardiology to fundamental studies in nanomaterials and virology.
