Professor Jun Yong Choi's research lab focuses on infectious diseases, particularly viral pathogenesis and immune responses in severe respiratory infections such as COVID-19 and HIV. The lab investigates host immune dysregulation, inflammatory pathways, and the impact of viral variants on disease severity and treatment outcomes.
