본 연구는 빅데이터 분석 방법을 통해 프로야구 경기장의 환경요인 특성을 이해하고 분석하기 위한 연구로서 프로야구 경기장의 다차원적 환경 요인을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 1차적으로 소셜 빅데이터 분석 및 문헌조사를 통해 프로야구 경기장 환경요인을 추출한 후, FGI를 활용하여 프로야구 경기장 환경요인에 대한 5가지 중요영역 및 각 영역에 대한 5가지 환경요인을 선정하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 환경영역 간 상대적 중요도와 영역별 상대적 중요도를 파악하기 위해 AHP 분석을 실행하였으며, 그에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 제시한 프로야구 경기장 환경요인의 다섯 가지 영역의 상대적 중요도는 경제적 영역, 경기력 영역, 부대시설 영역, 복합시설 영역, 편의성 영역 등의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다섯 가지 환경영역에 대한 환경요인의 상대적 중요도를 살펴본 결과에 의하면 경제적 영역에서는 도시인구수, 경기력 영역에서는 좌석편의성, 복합시설영역에
