Professor Min Seon Park's research lab focuses on the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying renal dysfunction, neurovascular toxicity, and metabolic health in aging and lifestyle-related diseases. Key research directions include the clinical implications of renal hyperfiltration and mean corpuscular volume as predictors of mortality, the neurotoxic and vascular effects of methamphetamine—particularly through oxidative stress, blood-brain barrier disruption, and cytoskeletal reorganization—and the role of lifestyle interventions such as exercise in mitigating drug-induced neurotoxicity.
