About the Lab

Professor Min-Young Jeon's research lab focuses on aging-related health disparities, with a strong emphasis on identifying modifiable risk factors for dementia, physical activity assessment, and sleep-related health outcomes in older adults. The lab integrates epidemiological methods with advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to improve early detection and prediction of cognitive decline and neurodegenerative diseases. Current research also explores behavioral interventions, such as mindfulness-based programs, to address modern psychosocial challenges like smartphone addiction among adolescents.
