About the Lab

Professor Min-Jung Kwon's research lab focuses on translational biomedical research, particularly in clinical immunology and coagulation disorders. The lab investigates natural killer (NK) cell function and its implications in liver diseases using innovative flow cytometry-based assays, while also exploring pharmacogenomics of anticoagulants like warfarin in Korean populations. Additionally, the lab contributes to molecular genetics by identifying disease-causing mutations in hereditary syndromes such as branchio-oto-renal syndrome and studying fungal pathogenesis through functional genomics in *Magnaporthe oryzae*. These diverse research directions reflect a strong emphasis on bridging molecular mechanisms with clinical applications.
