About the Lab

Professor Minsu Kim's research lab focuses on translational and clinical aspects of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, with a strong emphasis on degenerative spine diseases, calcific tendinitis, and rare intracranial neoplasms. The lab investigates the pathophysiology of conditions such as diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH), ossification of spinal ligaments, and the impact of posture on spinal alignment, using advanced imaging and clinical evaluation. Additionally, the lab explores molecular mechanisms in cancer biology, particularly the regulation of mutant p53 protein degradation, aiming to identify novel therapeutic targets in cancer.
