About the Lab

Professor Sanghyun Kim's research lab focuses on advanced materials and sustainable technologies, with key research directions in energy storage systems such as calcium-ion batteries and supercapacitors, as well as environmental remediation through advanced oxidation processes for microplastic degradation. The lab also engages in biomedical data science, applying machine learning to clinical prediction models in anesthesiology and exploring molecular mechanisms underlying complex psychiatric disorders like suicide.
