Professor Sang-Tae Kim's research lab specializes in materials science and environmental sustainability, focusing on developing advanced oxide semiconductors for high-performance, low-cost thin-film transistors and exploring sustainable solutions for environmental challenges. Achieving High Carrier Mobility Exceeding 70 cm2/Vs in Amorphous Zinc Tin Oxide Thin-Film Transistors

This paper proposes a new defect engineering concept for low-cost In- andGa-free zinc tin oxide (ZTO) thin-film transistors (TFTs). This concept iscomprised of capping ZTO films with tantalum (Ta) and a subsequentmodest thermal annealing treatment at 200 °C. The Ta-capped ZTO TFTsexhibited a remarkably high carrier mobility of 70.8 cm2/Vs, lowsubthreshold gate swing of 0.18 V/decade, threshold voltage of −1.3 V, andexcellent ION/OFF ratio of 2 × 108. 관광산업 온실가스 배출량을 이용한환경산업연관표 작성에 관한 연구

This research suggests a method of developing input-output table based on the amount of greenhouse gas emission of each industry. In order to do this, first it calculates the amount of energy used in each industries. Then, it develops an environmental input-output table and estimates the direct and indirect coefficient of green-gas emission of each industries. Results shows that the highest ratio of greenhouse-gas emission among the tourism industry is air transportation(2.0% of all industries).

메시지 유형에 따른 숙박시설 잠재적 이용객의 에너지 절약 태도와 행동의도 비교

본 연구는 메시지 유형에 따라 잠재적 숙박시설 이용객의 에너지 절약 태도와 행동의도에 차이가 있는지를 검증하였다. 이를 위해 실험 연구방법을 수행하였다. 연구결과를 보면 메시지 유형별로 실천에 대한 태도는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 감성적 메시지와 비금전적 보상 메시지가 함께 포함된 메시지가 다른 메시지 유형보다 평균이 높게 나타났다. 즉, 실천에 대한 태도를 높이기 위해서는 응답자의 감성을 자극하고 실천에 대한 보상을 환경기금으로 기부하는 메시지가 가장 유리한 것으로 나타났다. 행동의도도 실천에 대한 태도와 유사하게 감성적 메시지와 비금전적 보상이 포함된 메시지 유형의 평균이 높게 나타났다. 따라서 숙박시설 이용객의 에너지 절약을 유도하기 위해서는 감성적 메시지와 비금전적 보상이 포함된 메시지 유형이 효과적인 것으로 사료된다.
