Professor Seunghui Seo's research lab focuses on the intersection of fashion, sustainability, and emerging technologies, exploring genderless sartorial identities through critical theory, the development of vegan and circular fashion systems, and the application of artificial intelligence in textile waste reduction. The lab investigates the cultural, social, and technological transformations shaping contemporary fashion, with an emphasis on ethical production, inclusive design, and the redefinition of fashion as cultural and artistic expression. This study analyzed the characteristics of vegan fashion produced by H&M and ZARA with respect to materials, design, development, production, and marketing to create social value. The results of this study are significant because they can be used as a reference to develop a vegan fashion market. Regarding the research method, this study assessed the concept and status of veganism through a literature review and examined vegan fashion case studies by analyzing official websites and media content.
