The community structure of meiofauna was surveyed from six stations in sand mining area near around Sungapdo, Taean five times from April-December, 2007. Ten meiofaunal taxa in total, comprising 5-9 taxa per station were recovered. Nematodes were dominant from four stations in April and from five stations in May. The community structure of benthic meiofauna was investigated from seasonal surveys at seventeen stations off the Saemangeum area, in 2007. Ten meiofaunal taxa were identified. Nematodes were the dominant faunal group in all seasons and harpacticoids were dominant only at a few stations. 야외에서 채집한 C. plumosus를 대상으로 잠재적 내분비계 교란물질인 DEHP, BPA 및 Tebufenozide를 처리물질로 하여 형태적인 교란 효과를 살펴보았다. 약제에노출된 개체의 하순기절은 부드러워지거나(smooth) 손실(loss)이 가장 많았으며 엷은 갈색을 보였다. 처리 물질에따른 기형의 정도를 살펴보면, DEHP는 46.2~85.7%,BPA는 73.7~90.9% 그리고 tebufenozide는 57.6~78.9%가 기형을 입어 BPA¤tebufenozide¤DEHP 순으로 기형이 크게 나타났다. 처리 물질별 기형 부위를 살펴보면,MIX (32~46%)¤MLT (25~34%)¤LT (3~7%)로 두 부분이 함께 기형을 입는 형태가 가장 많았으며 LT 단독의 기형이 가장 적었다. MIX 형태로 기형이 가장 높은 물질은 BPA (46%)¤DEHP (33%)¤tebufenozide (32%)이고,MLT에 가장 높은 기형을 보인 것은 DEHP (34%)¤tebufenozi
포란한 성충 암컷 Tigriopus japonicus (요각류)를 내분 비계 교란물질로 잘 알려져 있는 4-nonylphenol에 노출하여 생존율과 포란율의 변화를 살펴보았다. 실험생물은 2004년 4월 제주도 구안연안에서 플랑크톤망으로 쓸어 잡기로 채집한 후 실내순응을 한 달 동안 시켰다. 치사 율은 노출농도의 높아지면 증가하였으나 그 경향이 뚜 렷하지 않았다. 반면, 노출 후 처음으로 치사한 개체가 발생하는 시기는 비처리군과 처리군에 따라 명백한 차 이를 보였다. 포란한 암컷을 실험조건에 이동시키면 생 리적인 변동으로 인해 알이 떨어졌다가 4~5일 후 비처 리군은 100% 포란을 회복하지만 처리 군에서는 89~ 95%가 회복되어 약제노출에 따른 영향을 보였다. 치사 가 발생하는 시기는 비처리 시에는 10일 후부터이지만 노출 시에는 4에서 6일 후부터 발생하였다.
