About the Lab
Professor Woo Ram Kim's research lab specializes in gastrointestinal oncology and immunotherapy, with a focus on understanding and overcoming immune evasion mechanisms in colorectal cancer, particularly in the context of peritoneal carcinomatosis. The lab investigates the STING pathway as a promising target for enhancing anti-tumor immunity and develops novel immunotherapeutic strategies, including STING agonists and oncolytic viruses.
