About the Lab

Professor Yaeon Park's research lab specializes in radiomics and medical image analysis, focusing on improving diagnostic accuracy and prognostic prediction in neuro- and oncological diseases. The lab develops advanced MRI-based radiomic models to classify tumor subtypes, predict survival outcomes, and assess treatment-related toxicity in brain tumors such as breast cancer brain metastases, gliomas, meningiomas, and craniopharyngiomas. A key emphasis is on translating radiomic features into clinically actionable insights through machine learning and quantitative imaging biomarkers. The lab also extends its expertise to biomedical engineering, including the design of functional protective uniforms for civil defense, integrating material science with human performance.
