About the Lab
Professor Yoojin Choi's research lab focuses on advancing cancer immunotherapy and diagnostic technologies through innovative biomedical approaches. The lab investigates cancer stem cell targeting using dendritic cell vaccines, explores the role of immunosuppressive cells like Tregs in tumor microenvironments, and develops natural compounds—such as resveratrol analogs—to overcome treatment resistance. Additionally, the lab pioneers rapid, cost-effective biosensors using nanomaterials for sensitive pathogen detection, bridging diagnostics and therapeutic strategies.
