About the Lab
Professor Young Han Kim's research lab focuses on maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric complications, with a strong emphasis on understanding and predicting pre-eclampsia, preeclampsia-related biomarkers, and perinatal outcomes in twin pregnancies. The lab investigates inflammatory markers such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) and platelet indices (e.g., PLR, MPV, PDW) to improve diagnostic and prognostic accuracy in pregnancy disorders.
