Dae‐Duk Kim

Professor Dae-Duk Kim's research lab specializes in pharmaceutical sciences with a focus on drug disposition, absorption, and bioavailability. The lab investigates the mechanisms underlying the oral bioavailability of anticancer drugs, particularly using doxorubicin as a model compound, to understand the roles of intestinal absorption and first-pass metabolism. Their work combines in vivo pharmacokinetic studies with in vitro models such as Caco-2 cell monolayers to evaluate drug transport and permeability.
