Professor Hui Liang's research lab focuses on advanced environmental and nuclear safety technologies, particularly in the context of nuclear decommissioning and radioactive aerosol mitigation. The lab specializes in developing innovative spray and agglomeration techniques to enhance the removal of submicron radioactive aerosols generated during the dismantling of damaged nuclear reactors, such as those at Fukushima Daiichi. Research also extends into medical interventional guidance systems, where ultrasound and fluoroscopy are combined for precise treatment of trigeminal neuralgia. The lab integrates fluid dynamics, aerosol science, and biomedical engineering to address critical challenges in nuclear decommissioning and clinical intervention.

In the foreseen decommissioning plans of damaged Fukushima Daiichi reactors, submicron aerosol particles will be generated when retrieving fuel debris from reactor buildings by cutting it into small pieces. A multi-nozzle spray system will be used to scavenge these aerosol particles inside the primary containment vessel. To improve the aerosol removal efficiency of the multi-nozzle spray system, it is now necessary to study the aerosol removal performance by different single spray nozzles with d
In the decommissioning of damaged Fukushima Daiichi reactors, the melted and re-solidified fuel debris in the bottom of the reactor pressure vessel and primary containment vessel need to be cut into small pieces before removing them from reactor buildings. During the cutting operations, submicron radioactive aerosol particles are expected to be generated and dispersed into the atmosphere of the primary containment vessel. Those suspended particles must be removed from the air atmosphere inside t
Abstract Objective To explore the clinical value of ultrasound guidance combined with C-arm guidance during selective semilunar ganglion radiofrequency thermocoagulation via the foramen ovale for trigeminal neuralgia. Methods This study enrolled 48 patients diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia between January 2021 and December 2021 in the Department of Pain Management at Xuanwu Hospital. Patients were randomly and equally divided into a C-arm–only group and an ultrasound-combined-with–C-arm (ultr
Abstract In the foreseen decommissioning and debris removal plans of the damaged Fukushima Daiichi reactors, the fuel debris will be broken into small pieces using laser or mechanical cutting techniques prior to removing them from the reactor buildings. Regardless of the technique to be employed, submicron radioactive aerosol particles will be generated and dispersed in the gas space of primary containment vessel during cutting operations. The water spray system has been proven to be an applicab
C 33 can specifically bind to CD 11b/CD 18. C 33 as a ligand for CD 11b/CD 18 might be potentially used as an anti-inflammatory agent.
From the survey Honghe Hani Yi Autonomous Disaster hedge Prefecture of urban green space system, the risk prevention capability were analyzed,at the same time the construction of urban green space system and the ability to improves and measures were put forword.
This research aimed to determine the total flavonoids content in the extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves from Kunming and studied its antioxidant activities.AlCl3 spectrophotometric method was used to determine the content of the total flavone in this extract. Two photometric methods were used to determine its antioxidant activities. The results have shown that the content of the total flavonids in G.biloba leaf extract is 5.85%,its DDPH free radical scavenging activity is 59.11%,its IC50 is 114.6 μg/
Westemization branch in late Qing dynasty take great measures to become prosperous and wealthy by introducing and studying westem scientific technology and setting up industry both for military and civil use.Though its purpose is to help the Qing government get rid of its troubles from inland and outside, it also gives and impetus to Chinese productive force in modem-times. The movement benefits China as follows it stimulates the production and development of national capitalism, it resists the
