Professor Ji Yoon Kim's research lab focuses on metabolic and physiological health, with a strong emphasis on diabetes management, glycemic control, and the impact of environmental and lifestyle factors on metabolic and reproductive health. The lab investigates novel biomarkers such as the Glycemia Risk Index (GRI) to improve clinical assessment of glucose variability and its complications, particularly in type 2 diabetes.
