Professor Jieun Oh's research lab focuses on the intersection of environmental health, climate change, and population health, with a strong emphasis on understanding the impacts of extreme weather events, air pollution, and rising temperatures on human mortality and disease. The lab investigates temperature-related health risks—including heatwaves, hot nights, and climate-related injuries—while also exploring the role of socioeconomic disparities and urbanicity in shaping health outcomes. A key focus is on developing evidence-based public health warning systems and policies to mitigate climate-driven health burdens in South Korea and beyond.

이 연구는 예비유아교사의 놀이교수효능감에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 정서지능과 창의성을 설정하였다. 그런 다음 정서지능, 창의성, 놀이교수효능감 간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 대학의 유아교육과에 재학 중인 3-4학년 학생 319명의 설문을 통한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 우선 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계와 Pearson의 적률상관계수 분석을 실시하였다. 다음으로 AMOS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 구조모형 분석을 실시하였으며 Bootstrapping 방법을 이용하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 정서지능과 창의성은 놀이교수효능감에 유의미한 직접 효과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 정서지능이 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향에서 창의성은 부분매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 개정된 놀이중심 유아교육과정을 실행할 수 있는 역량을 기르는 역할을 하는 유아교사양성과정에 정서지능과 창의성의 중요성에 대한 함의를
