Professor Md Sayeedul Islam's research lab focuses on computational and systems biology approaches to address pressing challenges in health and agriculture. The lab specializes in bioinformatics, phytochemical database development, and structure-based drug design, particularly targeting viral proteases like those of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza A. It also investigates plant stress responses, with recent work exploring the role of hydrogen-rich water in enhancing wheat resilience and the dynamic subcellular interactions between mitochondria and chloroplasts in photosynthetic cells. The subtype prevalence, drug resistance- and pathogenicity-associated mutations, and the distribution of the influenza A virus (IAV) isolates identified in Bangladesh from 2002 to 2019 were analyzed using bioinformatic tools. Maxillary central incisor impactions occur infrequently.Their origins include various local causes, such as odontoma, supernumerary teeth, and space loss. Supernumerary and ectopically impacted teeth are asymptomatic and found during routine clinical or radiological examinations. The surgical exposure and orthodontic traction of impacted right central incisor after removal of odontomas is presented in this report.

This is a case report of a patient with a skeletal Class III malocclusion and maxillary arch deficiency. The patient was treated without extraction or surgery by increasing the maxillary arch length. Protraction of the maxillary complex and A point was the result.
