Sehoon Park 교수의 연구실은 만성 신장질환과 관련된 위험 요인, 특히 수면 장애, 심방세동, 흡연 등 생활습관과 심혈관계 질환의 영향을 중심으로 신기능 저하의 인과관계를 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 신장 기능 저하와 암 발생 위험, CRRT(지속적 혈액 흡착 치료)의 임상적 추세에 대한 전국적 역학 연구도 진행 중이며, 이는 한국의 신장질환 관리 전략 수립에 기여하고 있습니다. 연구는 관찰적 데이터와 유전자 예측 분석을 융합하여 임상적 실천에 기여할 수 있는 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 합니다.

These findings support an adverse effect of a short sleep duration on kidney function. Clinicians may encourage patients to avoid short-duration sleeping behavior to reduce CKD risk.
