Professor Yoo-Young Lee's research lab specializes in translational gynecologic oncology, focusing on improving outcomes for patients with cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers. The lab investigates biomarkers for risk stratification—such as pretreatment neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR)—to guide personalized treatment strategies. It also explores novel therapeutic combinations, including Wee1 inhibitors with radiotherapy, to enhance tumor control while minimizing toxicity. Additionally, the lab contributes to the critical evaluation of clinical advances in gynecologic oncology, particularly in immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and treatment optimization in early and advanced disease.
